10th Annual LaMardi Gras Celebration

February 17 and 18 at the Lamar Volunteer Fire Department
224 Hagy St, Lamar–over the bridge north of Rockport.

Friday 5-10pm & Saturday 10-10pm
Parade Saturday 11am

Food, Beverages, Chinese Auction, Casino and Live Music!

Where is Lamar… this community is located 10 miles north of Rockport The community was named for Miorabeau B. Lamar, the second president of the Republic of Texas.
Founded in 1839 at Lookout Point.

This community is also home to the “Big Tree” one of the most famous live oaks in the world. Be sure to visit Goose Island State Park
